a fine blue-glazed faience papyrus sceptre shaped in the round with open spreading head and suspension loop on top.  This amulet was placed at the throat of the deceased: 

"If it is sound, I am healthy; if it is undamaged, I am uninjured; if it is not struck, I am unwounded ... my limbs shall not become dried out"

Condition:  Intact and in very good condition overall with no chips, cracks or breaks.

Dimensions:  Height:  2.5cm (1in).

Provenance:  Private Delaware collection acquired early 1930's and then by descent.
